Sun, blue sky, breeze blowing down the M1 poma .. perfect !
:: Snow Conditions & Info
I arrived at 1pm and the snow was soft and a bit sticky. Pisted areas were best and my pick of the afternoon was the M1 which had small bumps and became more spring like and faster as the afternoon progressed. The lower part entering the poma take off area is rocky and ski patrol were fighting a battle to try and keep a track to the matting.
The lower Lady is a bit rocky too but the upper part is wide and deep. Similar story with the Cas, upper zig zag being good lower one thin and the headwall now has an obvious bulge on it. Great cover in the upper bowls and on the plateau.
We spent a couple of hours wandering up to the summit and soaking in the atmosphere after the lifts shut. Headed down the SW side ,then the Sneachda side of Fiacaill a Choire Chaise before cutting back and finally walking down from the mid station.
Super afternoon.
