As I suspected nobody had ventured into the Aonach so I took that route down for lunch. Upper Aonach was great but a sticky pole down the Daylodge followed

| Boarder triggered avalanche on the headwall in the morning. The tracks to the right were made by two more as I stopped to get out the camera !

Wide cover and those first up enjoyed freshies in good quality snow. Even from the car park I could see the powder trails coming up behind those skiing the East Lady.
By the time I was on the slopes the snow had turned a bit heavy and by the end of the day it was best to ski where there was heavy traffic as it was less sticky. Snow quality probably went from 4 to 2 as the day progressed
You could virtually ski anywhere but some chose to ignore warnings and as a result two boarders were lucky to not be hurt in the avalanche they triggered.
