like seeing an old friend again after a long absence - Jacob's Ladder

remarkably, it was possible to ski out of t-Sneachda, with minimal rock-hopping / damage to skis to beyond the point where the Lochan path meets the Sneachda path on the way back to the carpark

bumped into some ski legends on a wee side jaunt

traverse over towards Corrie an t-Sneachda

Aladdin's Couloir, looking better than when we did it a couple of weeks back

tracks down to the point where I bumped into Sandy et al

t-Sneachda from Loch Morlich, first thing in the morning on the way up.

Great first thing, wet and heavy by end of day
... since it had been powder, it didn't convert to nice spring snow, it just got thick and wet and heavy. Given a thaw today (Sunday) and a refreeze, the next thaw should be a bit nicer to ski on whatever is left...

After last lift, had a wee explore over the back with Jonno, Bridget & Findlay. They hit Aladdin's Couloir ("easiest conditions I've ever skied it in", said J) and I got down Jacob's Ladder:
