Possibly the last day of the M1 poma for this year. Huge thanks for all the effort that has gone in to keeping it going.

Flags in and pisting starting at the end of another brilliant day

M1 good but the walk down seemed a bit longer than from the end of the snow on the Lady.JPG

By the end of the day there were gentle bumps on the lower Lady

Traverse in the morning

Pisted upper Cas yet to be explored just after 10am

Last bit of the Lady, a combat ski but doable before the walk to the M1 poma

After lunch it was the pisted Lady . Both sides of the elephant fence were good.

The sun turned the area between the Cas and Fiacaill into perfect silk between 10 and 11am

Once the Fiacaill area became a bit sticky it was time to head up to the East Lady which by 11am had turned into a dream to ski

Heading along the side of the M2 to the East Lady. Lapped this making fresh routes down till just after 1pm

I knew a walk was going to be needed at the end of this route on the East Lady but the snow was so perfect that I just kept going

However on the walk across the heather to the Lady I came across a pair of ptarmigan, male here.

Heading down Coronation wall from the summit to finish off the day

Foot of the headwall. The run down was sticky but still a great way to end the day.

Spent the whole day using the M1 poma, as I suspect it might have been its last day and it had no queues

Made the most of the off piste in the morning as the sun turned it from firm to perfect slippy silky snow, firstly in the area between the Cas and Fiacaill then as it became a bit sticky on the East Lady. By 1pm it was becoming sticky so after lunch it was the pisted White Lady

Finished the day with a hike up to the summit to savour the views and ski Coronation Wall and the headwall which although worth doing was sticky by then.
Another superb day.
