Freezing level below car park. Believe the -6C at 900m forecast must have been right, with significant windchill on the ridges, it was a day for facemasks, but lovely when the sun made an appearance which it did occasionally! Wind up to 30mph or so on ridges maybe
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Wow. Nuff said.

Amazing cover, Especially on west facing aspects which were loaded, with the inevitable scoured areas at the tops of these slopes. Spent most of the day on Glas Maol (once it got de-iced, and when it wasn't shut down due to an incident). When the weather cleared it was spectacular with deep pow off the piste and machined pow on. Black & west ridge closed due to avalanche risk (see photos) although a few were trying their luck (& ski patrol's patience).
Didn't go to Cairnwell side (only racetracks, Clay & access seemed to be open), and Maol too much fun anyway.
