:: Weather Conditions
Mostly sunny - patchy cloud until 2 o'clock when high overcast came in. Started raining 4 o'clock but I was in the car park at Greenside Mine by then so don't know what it was like up top.
What will it be like after the rain and thaw?
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Above freezing - spring snow softening during day, never slushy but getting heavy by afternoon.
Still a lot of cover:
Savages - great spring snow, moguls
Presidents - great spring snow, moguls developed later
Presidents West - narrow but complete
Presidents West - careful navigation required on lower section to link snow patches but virtually complete.
Outer Mongolia & Way out West - didn't try them , looked broken but
Hut Face - heavily fluted, comlete, didn't see anyone ski it
Return to top of zig-zags possible with combat ski + occasional portage.
Excellent end (?) to the season. Thanks to Jamie for running the tow and to the shovellers who kept the tow track and lower traverse intact.
:: Riders
About 12 members plus Gordie's dog.
