 Powder in parts if the Fiacaill traverse
|  Fiacaill traverse. Fairly hard and rocks to be dodged for a very short section on the upper part

 New scanner system on the Cas gets going at 3pm.
|  Between the Fiacaill Ridge poma ( which opened in the afternoon) and the Car Park T offered loads of routes with firm to soft powder.

Bright,some sunny spells, not much wind, below freezing but didn't feel particularly cold until the sun went down.

Easy skiing on icing sugar type snow where pisted. Good route from top to bottom by traverse and Cas- zigs or gunbarrel- and lower slopes.
Fiacaill traverse was firm but the run between the Fiacaill ridge poma and the Car Park T had lovely powder stashes.
I'd a wander up to the summit. Marquis Wells was very firm, grippy but leg vibrating and around the summit was scoured with water ice. Ciste Mhearad has snow.
Cas and Fiacaill Ridge poma came on in the afternoon which helped reduce the queues for the funicular. First day of the new scanners working
Although I didn't ski it I heard that the Lady was great.
