:: Weather Conditions
A colder day and less windy and with an icy car park a harder snow pack was expected after all the rain yesterday! Plenty of showers packing during the day and falling as snow on the upper mountain.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
There is a deep and extensive snow cover over the whole mountain. I spent the day off the groomed runs and avoided having to dodge the ice cookies in the Main Basin. The Spring run and Rannoch glades both gave nice skiing with a firm grippy snow pack which improved as the day progressed. By the afternoon the snow showers were freshening up all the upper runs. The Etive glades and the plateau gave good skiing options further out wide so no pics from the main ski area today. The 3 rating for the surface conditions would be a 4 in some parts of the mountain by the afternoon.
