The Status board is under snow, again!

Hope no one needs access to the garage.

Looking from Cas over to M1, look at the pillars on the M1. The guys spent a lot of time digging these out.

Looking up the cas and gunbarrel, huge amount of snow

Looking from the carpark run up to the ridge. The was excelent once the snow started to blow about.

The upper two zig zags have gone, ski where you want

First thing the runs were hard and lumpy but at the end of the day the lower runs were excellent. I even skied burnside a couple of times with the wind blown powder building up

Looking over the the WL. The east lady is not as covered as last week due to the wind shifting the pack around.

:: Weather Conditions
Weather window was fairly small, started blowy but quickly subsided about 09: 30 to give bright spells but then closed in again about 13: 30. Significant drifting and uncomfortable on lifts. Skiing was good as wind was down the hill. It was hard to tell what was snow falling and what was blowing.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
First thing the lower runs were hard after yesterdays mild temps, a bit clattery on the skis and not so nice for boards, from the platter up the snow was much softer but then as the wind changed and the drifting started the runs developed a thick layer of wind blown powder. The ridge run went from horrible to fantastic. All work carried out by the machines was quickly undone by the wind giving some interesting runs down. The White Lady and M1 remained closed all day and people were warned to keep away.
