Entrance to the Fiacaill traverse, the road way looks bad but there is quite a depth of snow on it. Either side still has a lot of rocks but a good way in the the Fiacaill area.

Once in The Fiacaill run was outstanding. Deep fresh untracked snow

Top of Jeans bowl looking back to the Fiacaill unload station. Deep drifts here, fun to bounce through.

Looking along the Fiacaill traverse fence line.

Deep fresh snow in Jeans Bowl + side slope. Can catch you unawares if you hit a hollow .

Bouncing through the fresh.

Looking over to the lower runs. They are filling in but best way down for beginners is the home road.

Middle runs still need more snow. The pistie beasties are regularly going up and down the M1 tow track ensuring a good base is forming.

Top station area, wind died down in the afternoon and the skies cleared.

Upper cas area, wide fresh snow

:: Weather Conditions
Below freezing at all levels, bright overcast sky to start with but slowly cleared towards mid afternoon. Wind in morning was amusing at the top but once down into the cas and lower slopes it was quite acceptable. As the viability improved the wind dropped and you could actually stand up on the Traverse.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Lots of fresh snow and drifting at all levels. The bare patches of the other day are getting topped up nicely but still thin at the bottom. The home road is much better now,fresh although slow snow to just above the base station where it is still rocky. Jeans's bowl is getting better and better each day but not for the faint hearted, big drifts and deep hollows were there to catch you out. Borders and advanced skiers were having fun in here.
