A fantastic days skiing at Glencoe with the early birds catching plenty of fresh turns. A bluebird morning and then high cloud building up early afternoon before some snow showers developing.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Excellent cover and snow conditions with just a few harder scraped area on exposed crests and ridges. Full uplift running was running with no queues. All runs were open except the Flypaper (avalanche risk). The Wall was in great shape and Lower Etive Glades a delight to ski out wide. Spring Run was a bit hard in sections with some sastrugi but still great fun to ski. Main Basin loaded and ski anywhere. Happy Valley well filled and nicely groomed first thing. Rannoch Glades still a bit icy but some nice softer bits you just need good edges. Flypaper still closed and untouched although East Ridge seeing some action but has icy top sections. The Access runs are now getting quite thin lower down and need some more snow.
