 Looking towards No 5 gully from the CIC hut. Snow cover is only four feet wide at the narrowest section.

Ben Nevis No 5 gully. Hiked up from North Face car park to CIC hut and then on up the gully.

Dreich! Poor visibility and wet.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Poor snow conditions. Snow cover only four feet wide in places in the gully. Snow consisted of avalanche debris and old rotten snow.
