Another bluebird day, two in a row. Little or no wind and freezing at all levels.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
What can I say? Yesterday's epic day at Nevis was a tough act to follow but today was as good! A run on summit and the goose to warm up then headed over to Spikes. Very few additional tracks over there since yesterday's run and plenty of untracked to keep everyone happy.
Followed Spikes with a drop in on Easy Gully. Transformed snow since yesterday, relatively firm and choppy in the gully, also climber footprints. Snow changes back to dreamy powder as the gully opens up into Coire an Lochain. Made the drop in worthwhile!
Finished with a visit to summit gully. Skied down to the bottom of summit gully and then bootpacked up the ridge to Stob an Cul Choire 1068m. Had an amazing untracked ski down to the bottom of the Braveheart in light powder from the summit. What a weekend!
