Almost constant snow from 12: 45 with very little wind. The sun came out on one run down. Visibility was not that good up high but ok from the elephant fence down
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Powder powder everywhere ! Wonderful fantastic to ski texture above mid lady level - grade 5 ! but a bit heavier below.
I never investigated the top bowl as the visibility wasn't that good but it must be loaded and the Ciste, Ptarmigan and Polar Express tows were running.
I just made the 12.45 train and at 1pm they changed the frequency from 4 trains /hour with stops every half hour at the middle, to three/ hour all stopping at the middle. Great timing because it gave you time to get down and catch every train- so 11 fantastic runs !

M1 was good and there is more snow at the bottom than there was on Sunday. Traverse Cas also good but both these routes require rock dodging at the bottom and walking.

After 3 runs I settled on the Lady approaching it from the ski anywhere perfect powder field between the West Wall poma and the East Lady fence entering at different gaps in fence. My tracks were being partially covered on each run. I did hit rocks on the lower Lady but it was possible with practice to ski right to the mid station avoiding most of them.

Brilliant afternoon !
