Bright blue with cloud round the summits when I got there about 11: 00. Cloud thickened upto, some very very light snow at times (well a few flakes). Cloud lifted around mid afternoon and inverted slightly at the very end.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
I think this is what the regulars know as early season.
Mixed bag but good. Main basin best of the upper runs but rocks, boiler plate base and narrow piste widths in places. Very enjoyable skiing when you could see, bit wary in the mist trying to find (avoid) rocks. Happy valley was narrow and mostly plate with thin fresh at the top, better at the bottom. Had the tiller been working on the machine conditions would have been better.
Mugs Alley / Plateau runs, nice skiing. Powder and soft around. Thin in a couple of places but onto grass so fast and base friendly.
Conditions better than some of the pictures might suggest. Just didnt have the camera out when main basin was looking good.
