:: Snow Conditions & Info
What a fantastic day ! In the morning the summit runs were perfect grippy corduroy.
I then had a tour over to the summit of Aonach Mor on grippy snow that had hoar on the surface. The ski down to the col before Aonach Beag was lovely.
Spent the afternoon lapping the Goose by Sidewinder then cutting over to Inside edge on lovely loose snow. I tried the actual Goose but it was pretty icy with very little loose to turn on so I abandoned it and cut over.
Also enjoyed several circuits of Switch and Warrens and Alpha. I think I was one of the first down Warrens and it was quite chunky and grippy. As more folk skied it the top and bottom improved but the middle became a bit bare.
I could see folk enjoying the runs by the quad chair, but not being a lover of chairlifts I didn't venture over.
At 3,30pm the Skimo race took place and the competitors skinned up by the Goose and were still there after the tows had shut
Very quiet, staff really friendly and giving me the Goose T bar which I really appreciated.
Thanks Nevis for a fab day
