|
The bottom zigzags, the snow is sugary and brown with stones mixed through, not so nice.

|
The lower slopes have gone, no complete way down
| The Ciste bowl is in lovely shape where the machine has broken up the surface crust, an easy ski for all abilities

:: Weather Conditions
Below freezing at all level, over cast with strong winds which quickly abated and the skies cleared. Late afternoon light snow shower blew through with weak sunshine.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Runs open to mid station only. Surface hard from top down Cas. Zigzags were sugar, brown and stony. Upper Ptarmigan bowl gave good skiing with wide cover, soft at top but harder in Ciste. The machines had broken the surface up improving the texture. Skiing to bottom station is possible via the Fiacaill , side slope and the ridge poma at the bottom but not recommended for the faint heated. Very good areas for beginners at the top.
