:: Tour Route(s) or Location Skied/Ridden
A two night trip into the North Face of Ben Nevis. Hiked in after a great day at Nevis Range. Two lines of ascent used - High Rustler up Tower Gully and the non alpinists up Coire Leis which turned into a mini-moment on the 'Slope of Doom'. Various descent lines inspected. No.4 went first followed by a re-hike up to the narrows of No.3. Two great descents. Weather turned overnight so we hiked out for a pint and burger at the Ben Nevis Inn. Classic weekend.
:: Weather Conditions
Superb! Except Monday morning which was wet and then turned out nice.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Good snow cover above 800m. Firm on the headwalls but some great snow in the gullies/snow-fields below.
