little wind but spots of wind chill around -10

disappointed as the 2day warm spell turned the amazing powder to hard pack with better dusty snow on summits! sun helping keep the snow ridable .. all in all super sweet run... fully stoked.....

Afterwork headtorch ski on Lowther Hill. Started climbing at 9pm and back down again at 11.15.
:: Weather Conditions
Horizontal sleet and rain. Still highly enjoyable.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Mixture of wet snow, heather, mud, and large puddles. Still made it down from the summit back to wanlockhead though.

Ben Nevis.
Hiked in Friday night and stayed at CIC hut.
Skied #3 and #4 gullys in the coire na ciste bowl.
:: Weather Conditions
"Shonky Tonk" weather (pish wet!) and droppy cornice's prevented us from venturing onto some of the more adventerous gullys
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Granulated spring snow. Despite the torrential rain some sections were still pretty firm

Tyndrum Lead Mines. Last worked in the early 1800's.
:: Weather Conditions
The west coast weather forced us underground for the day for a spot of Subterranean Spelunking
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
It seemed to be thawing above ground. Below ground things were really wet. muddy and somewhat damp. However good shelter from the storm force winds.

Pitmedden Forest
:: Weather Conditions
Wild and snowy

All landrover tracks well covered. The single tracks through the trees were exciting - so was the North Shore stuff!
