For those prepared to do the leg working hiking or skinning for turns the Main Basin and Spring Run are still complete on the upper mountain. Flypaper and East Ridge saw some action on Tuesday, but the Flypaper is pretty sketchy with large glide cracks partly obscured by sluffing snow!
Main Basin is complete from top of the T-bar to the top of the Wall T-bar via the Haggis Trap, though the trap itself is narrow and the entrance is still banked out at a weird angle and a rather fruity kicker has been added on the exit! Ski Tow gully is mostly skiable as an alternative with a short break around Tower 1 of the T-bar.
Spring Run is complete out the run-out on Rannoch Wall which gets you back to the SSC Hut area.
Good Granular spring snow and the forecast is dry and brighter for the remainder of the week, should warm up a bit too.
