Report
Glencoe kicked off their season on Saturday 1st December with a day for the Snowfactory supporters with the Coire Pollach Tow running for a 300m groomed run via the Plateau Cafe.
Not enough natural snow for the Plateau Poma so it was a short walk over to the Coire Pollach Tow and then down Old Mugs Alley to the Plateau Cafe for some bubbles to the mark the first Snowfactory enabled start to a season!
The Coire Pollach Tow was open to the public on Sunday, but will not run at least during the first half of the week while further snow making is in progress to accumulate enough snow for a more robust and better uptrack. Sledging is available in the vicinity of the Plateau Cafe (weather permitting) and the sledges are free to use and return trip on the Access Chair is £12 for adults, £6 juniors and £25 for a family ticket.
More snow, snap thaw/freeze and stormy conditions then colder with more snow is the summary of the week ahead. Keep an eye on the webcams.
