Bright and Sunny spells gradually gave way to more frequent snow showers on Saturday, which continued to drift in fresh windblown powdery snow on the Ptarmigan, with all the Top Basin runs complete and open, and the off-piste side of the Ptarmigan Tow also getting some action.
The base was thinner and narrower on the Ciste, but the fresh snow was evenly spread to give a full width cover of lovely fresh snow in the Ptarmigan Bowl. Visibility vanished as the snow showers became more steady in the afternoon so not too many photos.
Though no mid-station stops, some people did ski down to the middle and there is reasonable cover to the end of the top Zig Zag/top third of Gunbarrel, just possible to get down the Gunbarrel with care for experts.
As an aside would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came along to the 'Open Forum' meeting in the Daylodge on Saturday Morning.
