The Plateau Cafe sledge park had a busy first day of action on Thursday with over 80 people up the Access Chair to play in the snow!
With an fairly sharp overnight frost the groomed machine made snow was running fast on Thursday with plenty of sledgers getting right to the bottom of the fences.
Currently easy walking on the track over to the sledge slope, as sadly from a ski perspective there has been little natural snowfall on Meall a' Bhuiridh during this cold spell.
However for those wanting to take in the views or go sledging the forecast is cold, but settled with long periods of sunshine expected over the weekend. Do wrap up well though, it is looking to get a degree or so colder as we go into the weekend.
Great to see on approaching the Top of the Access Chair is all the chairs on the new Rannoch Triple Chair.
Don't forget if you are fairly local to the area, Warren Miller's DAYMAKER screens at the Oban Phoenix Cinema on Thursday 15th December. Go to www.warrenmiller.co.uk for more info.
