Report
The Lecht kicked off their 2017/18 season on Friday with the Eagle and Grouse Pomas on the main slopes and the beginner Magic Carpets. Good cover of machine packed new snow with some softening later in the day.
Slightly milder conditions are expected to give a slow thaw, but the Lecht should be mainly dry on Saturday and the Lecht has received the most snow this week as clusters of showers piled in off the Moray Firth.
Most main runs are complete with a good fence to fence cover and the majority of the main tows are due to run on Saturday. The Grouse and Eagle Pomas are due to be joined by the Buzzard Poma (other side of the road), Osprey Poma and Snowy Owl Chairlift.
