Ben Nevis, Carn Mor Dearg and lone walker on Aonach Beag.

A prefect inversion layer gives a spectular unending view of not a lot!!

>On Top of the World? Actually it's the top of Aonach Beag.

The view from the top. Looking out from Aonach Mor

Dubious looking creep lines....

Cornices above Coire an Lochan. The posts indicate the edge of the mountain!

Carn Mor Dearg and Ben Nevis protrude through the Inversion, seen from Aonach Mor!

Summit runs and Summit Button, suncream and shades essential.

The Summit Runs, and beyond an apparently never ending Inversion Layer!

Another perfect blue sky, sun-cream and shades day, well on the tops of the Nevis Range anyway, not so good if your were stuck in the valley as the temperature inversion trapped a complete layer of low level cloud, giving a perfect inversion scene from the summits.

The last few days have been superb for being on the mountains, but more cloud and light snow showers are expected on Saturday. Thanks to George Paton for Friday's photos from Aonach Mor and Aonach Beag.
