Lift served snowsports on CairnGorm is currently restricted to just the lower section of the Carpark T-bar and the SnowBadger Rope Tow for beginners on snow factory snow outside the Daylodge.
Above mid-station snow cover provides a number of routes that are doable for touring, snow conditions were hugely variable from pockets of fresh, to icy rutted older snow. Cover will diminish in the mild and windy conditions to end 2021, however what snow remains will be softer until temperatures drop back early in the new year.
If you have been out in the mountains please send photos to pix2022@winterhighland.info and include a bit of info about weather and snow conditions and we'll pop them up!
