The haggis Trap is looking fairly sporty on the Main Basin!

Cliffhanger opened during the morning for only the second time this season. Canyon and the Wall seeing action for steeper turns.

The end of the line - ski patrol checking out the Main Basin T-bar.

Plateau Poma and run, some narrow spots, but great groomed new snow turns for getting back into the swing of things.

Ski Patrol checking out the Main Basin - filling in reasonably well now, but T-bar track needs more snow further up.

The Cliffhanger Chairlift opened for only the second time this season on Friday and it was giving lift served access to some steeper terrain for the first time this season with the Wall (red) and the Canyon {black) seeing action.

Canyon is still more than a little sporty, the Wall though still with narrow bits has filled in a good deal in the past few days and was the pick on Friday.

The Plateau Poma and Coire Pollach started the day before the Cliffy opened, for Saturday the expectation from the forecast is just the Plateau area will be open because of the wind. It's forecast to be damp in the morning at least at the plateau level, and pretty blowy, and the new snow due tonight will turn very sticky.

Sunday looks much more promising with temperatures falling a bit on Saturday evening again, some more snow overnight and much lighter winds due on Sunday too. Plus, hopefully with the snow / drifting forecast tonight and Saturday night the Piste Bashers can work some magic and get the full length Main Basin T-bar running on Sunday.

Strongly advised to buy tickets in advance for Sunday onwards as they may not be available on site as numbers will have to be limited even if lifts open to the top the terrain is still fairly limited in extent.
