Patchy base remains on the Kestral (green) and Falcon (red) runs. This should persist through colder weather and hopefully snow into the following week.

The Lecht will be closed on Monday and Tuesday now that half term holidays / long weekends have concluded everywhere.
On Sunday the beginner Robin and Wren runs were complete thanks to machine made snow with both magic carpets running. Good soft groomed snow for learning on, but currently no progression options at the Lecht except from the shorter Robin to slightly longer Wren magic carpet.
On the main slopes a patchy base remains away from the very top, this should remain through the coming week as little overall change is expected in the short term. However if the trend in the forecast models as move into the second week of March continues then we could well see the Lecht fully open before mid month. However still a lot of uncertainty in the medium term forecasts, but the fact there is a partial base and it looks like sticking around means it will not take much to get main runs open again and the ground is reasonably cold on the main side of the hill.
