A few snowy photos from around the base at Glencoe on Friday, the new Cafe looking the part surrounded by snow as it is set to start it's first full ski season along with the new Rannoch Triple Chairlift which waiting to make its operational debut.
Only a few flurries by dawn on Friday while heavy snow had already been falling for a period further South of the ski area. Though around 6 inches of snow fell by dusk on Friday, that was considerably less than fell a short distance further south.
More snow showers and fresher winds into the weekend drifted the snow around. We'll need to see if anything can be seen on the webcams before dusk on Monday to see if enough snow stuck in the right places and came through a mild and wet Monday to set up the start of a base as the temperature falls back once again overnight into Tuesday.
