Looking over to the Eagle, Grouse and Snowy Owl runs from the top of the Buzzard Poma.

View from the Traverse heading over to the Eagle from the Grouse.

Top of the Buzzard looking NW. Full width between the fences but pretty sparse outwith.

View over to the full fence lines on the Buzzard from the top of the Eagle. New snowfall has freshened things up.

Thanks to Joseph Coane for these pictures from the Lecht on Hogmanay. If you've photos to share please send them to snow2022@winterhighland.info .

The Grouse, Eagle and Buzzard Pomas were open on the main slopes, snow was pretty firm and icy in places, particularly on the Eagle. Generally the intermediate blue runs that are open are full width between the fences and fresh snowfall has topped things up since Hogmanay.

The beginner area served by the magic carpets is in great conditions for learning, as it is getting top ups from the snow making as required.
