Glenshee helped kick off the 2012 Scottish Snowsports Season on Saturday with a range of lifts and terrain for all ability levels on offer on the Cairnwell side of the A93.
The Dink Dink, Plastic Slope and Claybokie Pomas, plus the Cairnwell T-bar were open on Saturday. Butchart's Access Poma scheduled for Sunday providing access to the Poma Run and Butchart's Coire itself.
Snow is firm packed, some harder but mostly grippy areas after the thaw/freeze cycle in Thursday's storm, with areas of windblown fresh powdery snow.
Further out the mountain is very windswept, large deposits in sheltered areas and aspects, but other aspects blown clear, Piste crews are looking at preparing more terrain to open.
