The Lecht under unbroken sunshine and clear blue skies on Tuesday morning with some great riding for novices and intermediates on well groomed machine packed snow.
The nursery slopes, particularly the Robin and Wren are in great shape for learning ahead of half term, with a good cover of machine made snow put down last week.
Both the lower Grouse and lower Eagle have also benefited from a top up with the snow cannons.
The runs skiers left of the main lifts are the ones in the best nick, the Snowy Owl having the best and deepest cover, but the Grouse runs and skiers left of the Eagle are full width between the fences. Links around the area between the Eagle and Snowy Owl are quite thin but well groomed and easily skiable.
For more advanced riders skiers left of the Falcon is in pretty decent shape with well groomed firm snow, full width at the top with options outside the fences, but narrowing on the approach to the foot of the Poma. Harrier Black needs a bit more snow lower down, there are hydrants for the snow cannons on the lower 1/4 of the Harrier Black.
