The Lecht took quite a hit on the top of the hill from Friday's mild and wet South West storm, basically leaving nothing fully complete on the main slopes.
However the return to colder temperatures and some fresh snow allowed the Grouse and Eagle 2 run and since these photos were taken on Sunday there has been around 6 inches of new snow freshening up the open main slopes.
For learning the magic carpet slopes are in great shape with new snow on an established machine made snow base, with the advantage of everything just a few footsteps away in the Base Lodge.
