| ![](https://www.winterhighland.info/pix/displayimage.php?photo_id=38311&width=300&height=225) Drifts on Old Mugs Alley, but not enough to work with. Some tourers did find some lines.

| ![](https://www.winterhighland.info/pix/displayimage.php?photo_id=38313&width=300&height=225) The Sledge Park is still the only lift served sliding in the West, and for little ones, will be much quieter now schools go back.

![](https://www.winterhighland.info/pix/displayimage.php?photo_id=38314&width=300&height=225) Feeling adventurous - take on the disc golf course in winter. Start hole 1 at the end of the sledging slope fences when snow.
| ![](https://www.winterhighland.info/pix/displayimage.php?photo_id=38315&width=300&height=225) Great views and magical light for sightseers, but the ski areas would rather the weather further south today!

Snow falling everywhere, but the ski areas it feels like from watching the news. Things look a lot more seasonal than during the tropical downpour on Hogmanay, but alas still not sufficient snow for snowsports and it does look as if only light falls are expected over the coming days before largely fine / dry conditions for mid-week through to end of the week.
There were ski tourers up and they managed to find some lines on various parts of the hill, can get up from the Top of the Access with skis on, but saw several walking down the Access Return rather than risk skiing it or any of the Plateau runs.
Access Chairlift open daily for sightseeing, sledging and any adventurous disc golfers or well insulated paraglides! Last chair up 3.45pm, but if going sledging be on the chair no later than 2.30pm to get a reasonable time on the hill.
Hopefully the weather will surprise us and bring snow further North / West than expected!
