Report
Storm Eowyn has driven many hours of sustained hill snow into the West Highlands, with clusters of showers merging into some streamers this evening. Radar data suggests anything from 20 to 35cm plus of snow has fallen at Glencoe above the Access Chair over the course of the past 18 hours.
However what if anything has stuck and were remains largely unknown thanks to almost no visibility for much of the day, just fleeting teases on the webcams. Shower cells bringing snow down onto Rannoch Moor continue to pile in from the West this evening and there is between 2 and 4 inches of wet rather slushy snow at car park level at 1200ft.
Hopefully daylight and clearing visibility as the wind moderates on Saturday morning will reveal good news on the mountain!
