All routes down from the Rannoch Triple Chair in good condition with machine packed/groomed snow.
| Rannoch Chair doing its thing, meaning no queues even though a decent number up for midweek.
|
Sledge Park is always quiet mid-week so great time to bring up little ones. The magic carpet also serves a short nursery slope for ski school.
| Cliffhanger Chair from the Plateau Cafe, all mid mountain runs seeing action.
|
Looking down the Weasel Track, top 3/4 in reasonable nick, bottom now thin and worn past the trees - but can still get to carpark.
| Looking down the low level Red Access Run, decent above Carnage Corner, more combat below. But in cooler drier air Wednesday afternoon quite firm snow with odd icy bit.

Some snow showers possible this evening with strong winds for a few hours overnight, so between showers and drifting might be some areas of fresh on Thursday morning.
Expecting the showers to clear by or soon after dawn and the cloud should mostly clear away too to give a largely bright and sunny Thursday. All Plateau Runs are open and in pretty decent nick given this snow arrived to what was bare ground prior to Storm Eowyn! Machine packed / groomed snow across the Plateau runs, and lots of options to cut between the official runs.
Mid mountain Mugs Alley is groomed from the top of the Cliffhanger Chair for intermediates, while for more advanced riders most mid mountain runs are open including the Wall and Thrombosis (both red), the flank of the Canyon (black) and the Cliffhanger Crag are also seeing action giving steeper more challenging lines.
Machines have been working on the Wall T-bar, so it could potentially operate soon if required.
At the Plateau Cafe the sledge park is in fantastic condition just now, and during the week it is much quieter so a great time to take little ones up sledging. Do put on plenty of layers on Thursday though as it will be colder than Wednesday with a chilly breeze too.
Still possible to ride to the Carpark at just 1200ft with care giving 1600ft of vertical. Snow here was firming up in cooler, drier air late Wednesday, so this is likely to be pretty firm early Thursday. Top 2/3rds of the routes down are decent, but somewhat combat but passable below there for experience skiers and boarders.
