Looking over to the Rannoch Chair from the Cafe fork of Old Mugs Alley.

Old Mugs Alley filling in, but lack of snow at top and bottom of tow due to wind direction.

Snow factory snow being pushed out to build up a link to the Cliffy.

Mugs Alley in the distance from the Sledge Park.

Snowfactory snow production being alternated between sledge park and building links around the Plateau Cafe area.

Sledge Park in great shape, full width and notably fast this afternoon as the snow crisped up a bit.

Unfortunately Wednesday night's precipitation fell as the liquid sort, so though little change in cover there has been no hoped for gains and a soggy snow pack to start Thursday.

Slightly cooler and drier on Thursday, apart from one or two showers, has seen things start to dry out and the sledge park at the Plateau Cafe was running fast by the afternoon.

There is a chance of some snow showers on Friday before high pressure builds in strongly over the weekend. With colder and drier conditions, the piste bashers will be able to get out and about again, to try and work some magic around the mid mountain level.

With possibly a lengthy cool or cold but dry spell incoming, at Plateau Level snow factory snow is being pushed out to build a link to the Cliffhanger Chair. With a few days of factory production and snow farming, it might just about be possible to get Old Mugs Alley complete. The Coire Pollach uptrack has good cover already, so fingers crossed somethings can be linked together in the near future.

In the meantime the Access Chair is open daily for sightseeing, sledging and any intrepid disc golfers out there! (Tee one has been removed as it is in the sledge park, so start hole 1 at the end of the sledge park fence).

For tourers or those willing to hike for some turns, it is possible to get skis on at the Top of the Access and skin continuously to the top of the summit.
