The Rannoch Chair is running for access to the Cliffhanger via Old Mugs Alley, saving the walk up across the Plateau. At the end of the day Old Mugs Alley is the best route down, leaving about a 4 minute walk back to the Access Chairlift.
With a good deal of shoving about to cover some thin bits, that meant the top leg of Mugs Alley and out Old Mugs Alley to the Cliffhanger was giving pretty decent turns mid mountain, but though these are officially green runs, the cover is pretty narrow in places so only suitable for intermediates and above, treat as blue terrain for now.
It is possible to ski back to the Plateau Cafe from the upper mountain using the fork of Old Mugs Alley past the Glencoe Ski Club Hut. The sledge park is open and in great shape, sledges provided at the Plateau Cafe. Also quite a few people playing disc golf in the winter sunshine on Monday!
On the upper mountain, the Main Basin and Happy Valley were groomed, leave the Main Basin to come out via Happy Valley for returning to the Tow. Thanks to Ruanaich for the Main Basin photos.
The Spring Run and Flypaper are lethal, any fall would result in an uncontrollable slide into rocks so just don't!
