Tick Tock, more summer in the air than spring today and the end of the season is definitely getting near. Hopefully 2 more days of lift served snowsports, but the Main Basin T-bar track is needing some shovelling in a couple of spots, so please check AM (and be prepared to lend hand if needed)!
Overcast skies to start Easter Sunday, but the Sun should break through to give bright / sunny spells in by the afternoon and it looks as if Easter Monday should be almost unbroken sunshine and temperatures into the teens at the Summit.
The Main Basin is seeing the most action as its directly accessible of the T-bar, but the Spring Run is well worth a few runs, particularly if moguls are not your favourite thing. The Main Basin is getting quite bumpy now, so if spring snow bumps in the Sun is your thing then be sure to get up Sunday or Monday.
Mid-mountain, the Wall is still skiable though there are 3 short breaks lower down and this is the recommended route back to Plateau level. However the Canyon and Thrombosis are still seeing action, but not for the fainthearted!
Flypaper Bowl is also seeing action, but please speak to ski patrol for the latest on over there. At the other end of the scale theres a great sledging slope right outside the Plateau Cafe - there is no extra charge for use of the sledges just help yourself from the big wooden bunker outside the Plateau Cafe.
