The big news for the coming weekend is that the West Wall Poma made a belated 2011 debut on Friday morning with the replacement of a damaged section of haul rope fixed, so this will give a very welcome boost to mid-mountain uplift capacity for the weekend.
Reports are the best riding on the hill is the White Lady for advanced riders and the M2/OverYonder for confident intermediates. Still top to Daylodge riding on offer and the piste crew have been working hard to improve the carpark run with extensive snow farming.
Due to the hard and icy conditions on the side walls the Ciste Gully was closed on Friday. With the Daylodge Poma due to run Saturday, the DLP/WWP will be worth checking out for skiing the Cas side if the M1 gets busy.
