With blue skies and no queues, another fantastic day was had at Nevis Range. Initially the snowpack was rock solid but was quickly improved by grooming and was softened by the warm sun.
Great cover remains all over the mountain with the Rabbit Run easily skiable back to the top station and the quad chair complete to the bottom(no rocks!) with wide cover. Linnhe is starting to become thin but there is still plenty area for beginners with the Rob Roy T-Bar and Great Glen Chair expected to open at the weekend.
The Goose and Warrens have excellent cover with a mixture of non-pisted and wide pisted areas for intermediate and advance riders.
Back Corries have a mixture of hard wind-packed and soft powdery snow and it is possible to traverse out without walking. Braveheart chairlift is expected to be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Summit Terrain Park currently has a large and medium kicker, beginner rails, 2 rainbow rails and a table top with more features currently being created.
