Rankins Return is the best option for getting back to the Access Chair, but stay on the wrong side of the fence, then swap back for the traverse back to the Low Road.

Top leg of Mugs Alley, at the corner if visibility is good there are various lines around the Bunny Run, but easiest option is to follow the poles in a loop by the top of the Rannoch Chair.

Traverse into Etive Glades from middle of Happy Valley, possible to switch between the two at various points.

With a prolonged period of wind out of the SE quadrant, the NW flank of Meall a' Bhuiridh that forms Etive Glades is absolutely loaded!

Sledge Park is full length and pretty fast at the moment! Please bring sledges back to the top!

Heading into Old Mugs Alley from the Plateau Poma. The Old Mugs Alley loop via the Plateau Cafe is the best option for snowplough turners. The Poma run is agricultural at the top and bottom!

Possible to ski off the Access Chair and push round to the Poma on snow thanks to a lot of shovelling !

The Rock Garden and the Rannoch Button uptrack are loaded with the sustained SE wind. Beware of a significant difference in level of the uptracks due to the depth of snow on the Rannoch Button when returning to the Main Basin side!

Tantalising glimpses of blue sky lower down on Monday, but it did not ever quite clear all the way to the top, however visibility was mostly considerably better than recent days.

Snow is getting more spring like away from the top, soft fresh snow at the very top, softening machine / skier / wind packed snow a bit further down, then becoming more granular and all riding very nicely on Monday.

With the sustained SE to East wind, the mountain is almost back to front, with Etive Glades and the Rock Garden absolutely loaded. The Rannoch Button uptrack is in fantastic shape, so the top of the hill could comfortably accommodate a lot more skiers and snowboarders than were sliding on Monday.

There are several options to join Etive Glades from Happy Valley, so quite a lot of variation is possible on the upper mountain.

Mid mountain the top leg of Mugs Alley is OK, but at the corner either stay high and head out above the top of the Rannoch Chair, or pick a line through the Bunny Run side of the fence. If heading down the lower leg of Mugs Alley, it's best to cut across and follow the outside of the Old Mugs Alley fence lower down.

For snowplough turners the best option is Old Mugs Alley, but it does have some worn patches developing. Easiest route is the loop round via the Cafe or stick closer to the uptrack fence on the bottom half. The Coire Pollach Tow uptrack is in good shape and easy to ride.

The Plateau Poma is running and the uptrack is reasonably flat, the mid section of the Poma Run is reasonable, but the top and bottom is decidedly agricultural. Best route back to the Access Chair is via Rankins Return, but on the wrong side of the snow fence for the main section of the run, then cutting back to the normal side for the sweep back to the Low Road.

Though the Plateau runs are mostly skiable, Glencoe is more suited to more confident intermediates and above, as by far the best riding is on the upper mountain at this time. For green run terrain, CairnGorm and Glenshee have more options with considerably deeper and wider cover given the predominance of SE winds in recent weeks, but for the more experienced the top of the mountain is a whole bunch of fun with opportunities to ride stuff that is usually just boulder-fields thanks to those SE winds!
