Skier on the Spring Run.
Old Mugs Alley still in decent nick with the small gully having filled in well during Storm Dave.
Main Basin was great fun in the sun and the heavier ski traffic and pisting meant the snow was quicker here.
The Spring Run living up to it's name in the spring sunshine on the warmest day of 2026.
Heading up Ski Tow Gully with both upper tows running.
Taking in the view and the moody cloudscape, the lenticular clouds caused by the strong SE winds (despite a stable high pressure airmass) hitting the mountains and causing standing waves.
Link from Mugs Alley to Old Mugs Alley, giving a loop of the Cliffhanger chair for early intermediates.
Sledge Park was popular and still in good shape for the Easter Holidays.
Happy Valley.

It was a warm one, not quite the 22°c reached on the Moray Coast, but the screen temperature nudged within a fraction of 18°c at the bottom of the Access Chair on Tuesday afternoon.
The Main Basin and Spring Run were giving the best turns, both these more heavily skied over recent days and the Main Basin having been pisted in the morning. Venture of the beaten track and the snow was suddenly much slower going where fresh snow was thawing for the first time, but later in the day the surfaces were already getting quicker.
A combination of the pisting and heavier ski traffic mixing the more recent snow into the granular base helping the Main Basin morph back towards more granular true spring snow.
Mid mountain the loop round Mugs Alley and Old Mugs Alley was seeing a fair bit of action from the Cliffhanger Chair for green terrain. The Wall (red) was also seeing action, but was not as heavily skied in the past couple of days and was slow and fairly heavy. There are a few other lines around the mid mountain seeing action and these are likely to ski better on Wednesday as the surface conditions gradually improve on the less used areas of the hill.
Old Mugs Alley is still in decent nick, but elsewhere on the Plateau the baseless recent snow was getting thin and patchy in the warm spring sunshine. Plateau Poma still running for access and it is possible to still patch hop down the Poma run, Low Road and Rankins Return at the end of the day.
While it won't be as sunny or warm first thing on Wednesday, early cloud is expected to burn off to give good sunny spells.
