Top part of the Poma is up to near the top of the fences, the bottom is below the bottom of the fences!
| Can still go either side of the fence on Rankin's Return - was best route to Access Chair today, hold the highest line possible coming off Mugs Alley.

Glencoe celebrated 70 years of lift served snowsports on Meall a' Bhuiridh on Friday. As was the case on the 60th anniversary, the mountain was stormbound, but unlike then then the hill did open on the 21st, but it was a decidedly soggy start to the 8th decade of lift served riding at Glencoe!
The Plateau area has taken a bit of hit, you can still get around, but the Poma is mainly for access at the moment. The best route down to the Access Chairlift was Rankin's Return which had some very narrow bits at the bottom but it was possible to get back to the Chair and Poma on Saturday. If coming from above the Rannoch Chair, hold as high and far right line as possible heading on to Rankins Return.
Snow was softening packed snow, but some very wet patches around the Plateau. The pick of the day when the visibility was good was Etive Glades, various possible lines / routes to take out there.
Turning cooler overnight as rain eases to showers which will turn wintry with snow showers on the upper mountain for Sunday. Snow will dry out and crunch up, should be spring like mid mountain, lower upper mountain, but may firm up at the top.
Wind caused a delayed start on Saturday and speeds are slightly higher in the forecasts for Sunday, though the overhead in the morning should be better - check AM updates in case of any wind issues.
