Two robins more interested in the mealworms than squabbling! There was a third, but couldn't get all 3 in a single frame!

The classic Scottish Skiing dusk clearance! Snow showers tonight / Monday, but some clearer periods, then looking sunny for Tuesday.

First tracks at the bottom of the Red Downhill MTB track!
|
The Low Road groomed several machines wide, but unusually to the West side of the fence! Now best option for green run terrain if Rannoch Chair open.
| The corner of Mugs Alley is vastly improved with the snow over the weekend.

Struggling with the queues on Sunday!
| Looking over the top tows from Happy Valley to the absolutely loaded Rock Garden.

 Top of the Main Basin.
| Really nice snow on the Coire Pollach Run - outside / skiers right of the uptrack from Old Mugs Alley.
|
Heading to the Cliffhanger on the Cafe loop of Old Mugs Alley.
| Plateau Poma run has improved considerably, but is still thin lower down. Low Road now better for green run terrain skiers.

Big snowflakes at the base on Sunday morning. The White Corries Cafe will be open for breakfast from 8am!

Radar data suggests between 18 and 22cm of snow has fallen on the mountain over the past 24 hours since frontal snow moved in late Saturday evening. This was accompanied by a period of high winds with a peak gust of 74mph at the mid-mountain level at 1.40am!
Fortunately that wind dropped right off as dawn came in and the Access Chair was able to open on time at 9am.
While Glencoe has been best suited to more confident intermediate and above with the main and by far best action taking place on the upper mountain, the snowfall through this weekend has transformed the steeper mid section of Mugs Alley and the Plateau runs.
So there is now good options for all ability levels. For those looking for longer green runs after advancing from the teaching slopes, the Low Road was pisted to several machines width on Sunday afternoon. If the Rannoch Chair is running, this will be the pick for easier terrain, if it is the Plateau Poma serving this area, then the Coire Pollach Tow is much friendlier than the Poma!
There are also some nice mellow stashes of new snow on the Coire Pollach Run to skiers right of the tow fence and on the track down the wrong side of the Old Mugs Alley fencing.
On the upper mountain, it was a tad exfoliating on Etive Glades as it was catching the worst of the wind this afternoon, and some of the looser snow there was blowing back into the Main Basin. The Rock Garden and Little Rannoch to skiers right of the Top Tows had caught significant windblown fresh overnight.
Further snow showers due overnight and into Monday, but some brighter spells should develop on Monday, then a ridge of high pressure is set to settle things down to give a fine Tue and Wed.
As a bonus, a few hours of high winds and snow showers expected Monday evening before the ridge starts to build in, so there should be some sunny freshies on Tuesday!
