Caenlochan Poma and the original Meall Odhar run to the left. Going to be one big playground on Meall Odhar when lifts dug out and running!
The replacement Cairnwell Chairlift massively helps keep things moving when busy!

A very busy and also bright / sunny Saturday at Glenshee to kick off what is the peak week of February half term. After weeks of sustained SE winds, the ongoing storm recovery work to dig out the Pomas on Meall Odhar continues, once open Meall Odhar is going to be epic fun. Then onwards and outwards, the Fionn Pomas should not require as much work as they have comparatively less snow facing East, but the Glas Maol Poma is a different story! There is really a stupid amount of snow on Glas Maol! :)
Sunnyside and over the back off it provide a wide variety of green and easy blue runs for those advancing from the beginner areas who are comfortable riding the Pomas. If you are looking to minimise use of surface lifts, the Cairnwell Chairlift lets you get at most of the Cairnwell area including, green, blue, red and black graded terrain.
Thanks to Stuart Alexander for the photos. If you have been out on the slopes, please send us photos to the email address at the foot of this page.
