Home Run from Caenlochan to Tom Dearg.
| Take notes - the money kind - for the Meall Odhar Cafe!

Looking up the Caenlochan Poma, endless lines to pick across the face of Meall Odhar when it softens up.

| Souths side of the Clunies still in decent shape, traverse over from Sunyyside Pomas passable with a bit of heather hoping!
|
Looking over the Cairnwell, this side never had as much snow due to the SE winds, but Claybokie, Cairnwell T-bar expected to run at the weekend and chairlift subject to wind and surface conditions.

A largely sunny day saw most runs softening by the afternoon, with the extensive Meall odhar off piste great later on as it faces into the afternoon sun. However the Home run final pitch (on the north facing aspect) never softened, but is being pisted daily.
The Link traversing from top of sunny pomas across Clunies towards the Beag Poma now very narrow with a couple of short breaks. However it is planned to run the Sunnyside Chair wind permitting at the weekend, so would allow direct access to the south side of the Cluny Pomas which remains in decent nick.
Absolutely stacks of snow in the third valley, this has not been accessible this week, but it is currently anticipated one of the Fionn Pomas will be running at the weekend wind / weather permitting.
Sunnyside runs in general in good nick , particularly the green option. The chair run is decent, but the approach back to the chairlift is narrowing. Tom Dearg is skiable, but has mainly been for return from the Home Run from the top of the Caenlochan Poma.
The Cairnwell side has been closed mid-week apart from the nursery slopes served by the Rope Tow and Dink Dink. Some of the Cairnwell side is expected to be available at the weekend wind permitting, but the Tiger and Thunderbowl will only be for experts with sharp edges if unpisted snow conditions remain firm!
It may not look like there is much on first view of the Cairnwell area from the webcam, but Western aspects retain extensive and in places very deep snow. The haul rope of the Meall Odhar Poma is still buried in places for example!
While the Fionn Poma fenced run doesn't have that substantial a cover, the Glas Maol side of the Fionn Bowl has huge cover so there will be lots of options from the top of the Caenlochan when the Fionn Poma(s) reopen.
