Snow conditions looked surprisingly promising in the morning, but with wear and tear, and not helped by thin cover or rising temperatures the slopes were looking poorly by the end of the day.
Most runs were narrow or thin, with mud or brown patches appearing where cover was either thin or non-existent! This happened particularly on the steeper pitches, or at the bottom of runs. The Eagle, Osprey, Snowy Owl Chair, Robin, Wren, and the Grouse were all running, although the Chairlift was on and off with the varying wind speeds.
