Report
CairnGorm is now closed for snowsports, owing to very limited snow cover on the mountain, with only very limited sport available on Easter Monday on a narrow and in places patchy cover in the Ptarmigan Bowl and on Coire Cas.
That folks appears to be it, or is it? As these photos were being uploaded, rain radar returns show beefy showers affecting the Nothern Cairngorms, and through the night (till last update at 4am) the Summit AWS is reporting a temperature of -3°c, snow is falling on CairnGorm Mountain!
Thanks to Helen for what is hopefully not the last pics of the 2005 season.
