Looking up the mid-section of the Cas.
105 is fairly thin but skiable.
Enough snow to mess around in.
The Traverse retained a base so has a better depth of coverage.

Report
After a wild day on Saturday with heavy drifting along with the snow showers, CairnGorm Mountain is underway again with some limited snowsports available on Sunday.
The full vertical on the Cas side was available with skiing from the Top Station down via the Traverse, 105, Cas and Zig Zags, then onwards to the base station, from where the funicular was providing uplift.
No other uplift was available, partly due to high winds at the top of the Mountain, and showers later in the day were turning to rain at progressively higher levels. Indeed by 5pm summit temps had gone above freezing, and were at +2°c by 7pm. This is as forecast, with an overnight thaw followed by a drop in temperatures on Monday morning.
Hopefully we will get a consolidation of Saturday's snow with to much loss tonight, and we will finally have a base taking shape. If you are heading to the slopes, check the official report on Monday Morning.
